Mr. Cronin is a member of the private equity team, and focuses on investments in Europe and the Middle East, as well as venture capital, growth equity, secondary investments and co-investments. He is also involved in various portfolio management activities.
Prior to StepStone, Mr. Cronin was a vice president at Pomona Capital, where he was responsible for sourcing and evaluating both primary and secondary investments. Before that he was an associate at Spectrum Equity Investors, a middle-market buyout firm based in Boston and Menlo Park, where he specialized in originating, analyzing, and executing direct buyout and growth equity investments in media, entertainment, communications and business services companies. Earlier, he spent two years with Banc of America Securities’ industrials investment banking group.
Mr. Cronin is a graduate of the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and has an MBA from Columbia Business School.
